The Inexpensive Fashion designer Logo Model Women Are Dressed in to 2018 Weddings

As we all know, statement dresses are big news this year, and it feels like each week sees a new It dress steal the spotlight—think Kitri’s green belted frock or Topshop’s polka dot showstopper for starters. So many dresses, so little time. However, with wedding season in full swing, we’re on the lookout for something a little less viral and little more unique—after all, no one wants to step into a "who wore it best" moment. When it comes to under-the-radar dresses for spring/summer 2018, look no further than London-based Olivia Rubin, the designer who has won the hearts of the fashion crowd with her effortlessly cool approach to wedding guest dressing.

Cropping up on enough of Instagram feeds for the eagle-eyed team here to notice, Olivia’s distinctive designs are characterised by their ankle-grazing length and unusual hues and prints. “Wearing a statement piece ultimately makes a woman feel special and, like me, I believe my customers are searching for something a little bit different to everything else out there,” explains Olivia. “Whether it be small details such multicoloured buttons, or something bolder like my pastel-coloured guipure lace, I’m always striving to find that extra special element.”

Sure to turn heads in the chapel (but not for the wrong reasons: note the church-appropriate sleeves), Olivia's designs will carry you from pew to party with ease. “Versatility is key when wearing my pieces,” says Olivia. “I like to be able to dress them up or down and I always think about this when designing. I like them to look effortless so I opt for my favourite designer heels and an easy to wear bag (Cult Gaia is a summer staple). If I need a jacket I choose a relaxed tailored style to add a slightly androgynous feel.”

We have our eye on the Ines Lilac Maxi Dress, which will look just as good with square-toed sandals as it will with foot-friendly converse, so you won't need to worry about slipping off those heels mid party. Keep accessories to a minimum and let the dress do the talking.
