Store 11 of the Absolute best Wrap Attire, AKA the Maximum Flattering Factor Ever
The word "joyful" doesn't come close covering our level of enthusiasm about wrap dresses being back in fashion. The infamously flattering silhouette fell out of favour a while ago (thanks in part to a glut of poorly produced ripoffs of the Diane von Furstenberg signature as well as brands rendering them in stuffy, office-appropriate colours and fabrics), but with new life injected into the dress world as a whole this season, the wrap has been welcomed—and updated—once more.
In design circuits, this comeback is mostly down to a selection of cult-followed labels. Think of the likes of Attico (its slinky kimono-style wraps have been the talk of the town), Jacquemus (the thinking girl's shirting mecca) or Michelle Mason (where the A-list go for teeny-tiny, barely there evening pieces). Even DVF—which now runs under the creative direction of Jonathan Saunders—has updated its icon in myriad ways.
