U.S. Senate backs non-binding measure in search of congressional tariff function
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate overwhelmingly authorized a non-binding movement on Wednesday that might give Congress a job in President Donald Trump’s choices to impose price lists for nationwide safety causes.
As balloting persevered, 83 senators authorized and 11 antagonistic the non-binding measure, a part of an ongoing effort led through a few of Trump’s fellow Republicans who make stronger unfastened business to ward off in opposition to the president’s escalating effort to deal with what he sees as unfair international business.
