Brits love to talk about the weather, so you will no doubt have heard that there is a heatwave incoming this week. Whether you're heading to the coast or staying in your back garden, it is one of those rare occasions when you can actually wear swimwear at home and not feel silly. Swimwear brands tend to come from Australia and California, however there are a number of Parisian swimwear labels coming through that are making our poolside looks so much chicer. Jeanne Damas has introduced us to an elegant, timeless swimwear designer based in Paris, while it label Sezane has joined forces with another swimwear brand that might make you tempted to buy three styles in one go. Keep scrolling to see and shop the French swimwear brands we are into this summer.
Yse is a French lingerie brand founded by Bérengère Lehembre and Clara Blocman-Petit, but its their swimwear that is the most striking. It creates block colour one pieces and bikinis with pretty little detailing, such as ties on the shoulder and statement scooped backs. Yse also collaborates with Sezane on all its swimwear—which always sells out almost instantly.
Albertine however is for those looking to make more of a statement with their swimwear. The French brand often creates classic silhouettes with bold prints, such as a picture of a beach on the Riviera or illustrations.
Parisian label Yasmine Eslami is Jeanne Damas' favourite swimwear brand, as last year she did a collaboration with the designer with her own label Rouje. Jeanne often wears the signature halterneck swimsuit, however we're just as taken with the wrap-around bikinis.
